Photographs taken around Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door in 2011

Durdle Door

This is an update to a post I originally wrote in 2011, when I took a trip to Dorset to visit the unique landscape of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site in Dorset, southern England.

Circular Lulworth Cove, which is almost fully enclosed by its headlands, is one of the world's finest examples of such a landform and is a tourist location with over a million visitors a year.

Nearby is Stair Hole and the spectacular rock arch of Durdle Door (pictured above), which I also visited and photographed.
